How to set up a G Suite alias

Steps for setting up a GSuite alias.

Steps

  1. Login to your GSuite admin panel: https://admin.google.com/
  2. Click Users
  3. Select the user you’re creating an alias for
  4. Click User information
  5. Click Alternative email addresses (email alias)
  6. Enter the name for the Alias
  7. Click Save

Notes

  • These steps are just to receive email sent to an alias.
  • Email aliases do not replace GSuite user accounts. Every alias must be linked to an existing account.
