How to record yourself with Zoom

Steps for recording yourself with Zoom.

Steps

I. Enable HD recording

1. Open Zoom
2. Click your profile picture in the top right-hand corner
3. Click Settings
4. Click Video
5. Check Enable HD
6. Close the settings window

II. Start the recording

1. Click Start under My Personal Meeting ID (PMI)
2. Click Start Video
3. Click Record
4. Begin your presentation
5. Optionally also share your screen
6. Click Stop Recording once you have finished
7. Click End
8. Click End Meeting for All
9. Wait for your computer to Convert Meeting Recording (this may take a while)
10. Zoom should automatically open the folder where it has saved the recording
11. Open the mp4 file to review your recording
12. Share your recording privately using https://wetransfer.com/, Google Drive, an unlisted YouTube link or your Vimeo account if you have one
